Our Policies

We believe that swimming lessons should be fun! That’s why we make it our priority to ensure that you and your child get the very best swimming lessons in a family-friendly, enjoyable environment.

Whilst we do like everyone to have fun, safety is our priority and therefore we ask you to respect the following rules in our swim centre:

  • All children under 3 years or not fully toilet trained are required to wear a swim nappy.
  • Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your lesson start time so that you can get your child ready to enter the pool at the start of their lesson.
  • There is no running allowed in the centre as surfaces can be very slippery.
  • Please have children waiting on seats provided or in the play area.
  • Children should not play with pool equipment, wander around pool, walk on pool edge, lean over pool or sit on pool edge while waiting for their lesson. This takes the concentration of instructors away from their current lesson and is unsafe.
  • There is no eating allowed in the play area as left-over food may be harmful for babies or children with allergies that may play in the play area.
  • Children love their parents watching them swim, therefore we encourage you to put away mobile devices and enjoy seeing your child swim and give them positive reinforcement. Please take phone calls outside to limit disruption to lessons.
  • We understand you may wish to take photos or videos of your child in their lesson; however please ask permission from management and the parents of other children in the class as it is an offense to take photos or videos of other children without permission.
  • Children in the water for their lesson need to listen and follow the Instructor’s rules, this is essential as the Instructor has the responsibility for their safety. If there is frequent disruptive behaviour, the teacher is within their rights to ask the child to sit on the side for a short period or send them out of the lesson.
  • Parents and children are to keep away from the ‘out of bounds’ areas (side of pool where toys are, end of pool where pool cover is, office) for safety.
  • Parents should supervise children when they are in the bathrooms.
  • Parents should supervise children in the car park.
  • We are running a small business and appreciate your support by paying your fees on time.
